How can I / we become involved in the life of the school community?

Parents are encouraged to become actively involved in their children’s education at Ss Peter and Paul. Ways you can help in your child’s classroom might be reading with children, taskboard groups or covering books in the Library. Other ways of becoming involved are volunteering to help in the canteen, attending special days and events such as school liturgies or performances, helping at special events such as sporting carnivals, Spring Fair, working bees, costume committees etc

How can I / we become involved in the life of the school community?

Yes, each grade will be different, but parents often participate and contribute in the classroom. This could include helping with reading and literacy programs, mathematics groups, technology, craft, or by offering expertise in a particular area of interest, such as Indigenous Education or Music.

All are invited to become members of the Parents and Friends Committee, who work collaboratively with the school and parish community about matters regarding quality education for all children, and general issues about school life, including social events, fundraising and finances.

Will I be able to come and help in the classroom?

From where can I purchase the school uniform?

The school uniform is available for purchase from Kiama Sports and Cycles Shop at 27 Collins St, Kiama.

Do you have a healthy canteen?

We have a healthy canteen.  A canteen coordinator is employed by the school and a School Canteen Committee helps with the running of the canteen.
